Victory BX-72RSE Wood Chipper Wood Shredder with electromechanical Hydraulic System

Application of the wood shredder:

The Victory BX-72RSE  is a high performance wood chipper with a hydraulic feeding system that is yet easy to operate and handles material up to 20cm in diameter. The BX-72RSE comes with a PTO shaft with adjustable friction clutch for best possible safety for your tractor and Cat I upper and lower hitch bolts with additional bushings for  Cat 2 mounting.

For a perfect performance of  the wood chipper, your tractor should have arround 60 to 70hp and a PTO shaft speed between 540 and 1000 RPM.

The direct PTO shaft drive system turns the redesigned and well balanced heavy 95kg rotor with four turnable knives  made from tooling steel. The fast turning rotor cuts the wood between  35 and 60 times per second.

Driven by the tractor hydraulic system, the infeed rollers are covered with several rows of strong metal teeth, that reliably drags in even humid wood. The BX-72RSE hydraulic system can even process strong branch forks saving a lot of time, so that cutting most forks can be avoided. Different from standard hydraulic wood chippers, the BX-72RSE is not controled by mechanical levers, but through the new Victory electro hydraulic switches. This allows to reduce mechanical components and shorten hydraulic pipes. All electro hydraulic components are protected by metal covers, so that branches can not get entangled in hydraulic pipes or mechanical control levers.

Depending on the settings and the speed of the hydraulic rollers the wood is shredded into 1 to 5cm pieces. The completely new L-shaped counter knife and the strong air flow generated by the rotor fans, make output blockages almost impossible. The new counter knife fully covers the rotor cutting face and offers a better shredding of thin branches that managed to slip by the rotor disc. The shredded material is of much more regular size than other wood chippers can do, so that the wood chips can even be used for woodchip heating systems.

When processing difficult material like pine tree branches, bomboo or thuja 750 or 1000 RPM  PTO shaft speed can be used, in case your tractor offers that PTO speed. This will generate a significantly stronger airflow an greatly improve the output performance.
 

Technology of the BX 72 wood chipper:

The new Victory BX-72RSE wood shredder comes with two double ball bearing controlled rollers and a reinforced infeed chute.

The new operation by electro hydraulic switches is much more comfortable, since the  large safety bracket arround the infeed chute is no longer needed. The important features (IN - OUT - STOP) are now controled by weather resistant switches.

The shredding performance can be easily adjusted by a speed valve with 10 settings to match the type and diameter of the wood you want to process. The wood chipper can drag in and process smaller diameter faster than larger wood diameters.

Your tractor only needs a hydraulic pressure line and a pressure-less return line. The tractor does not need to have any special control valves.
